The .SE ccTLD was set up in 1986 and delegated to Sweden. During the first years after its launch, the registration process was pretty restrictive, so a very limited number of domains were purchased. Individuals were permitted to reserve no more than one domain under .PP.SE (“pp” stands for “private person”).
